Ivo Jurek, Chief Executive Officer

Ivo Jurek has served as a director of Gates Industrial Corporation plc since its formation in September 2017 and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a director of Gates entities since May 2015. Mr. Jurek oversees and manages all of Gates’ departments and lines of products and services globally. As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jurek has led Gates to expand product lines in fluid power, power transmission, and strategically grow market share through acquisitions and joint ventures, while driving improved financial performance through increased plants efficiency. Mr. Jurek has a deep understanding of new technology development, manufacturing, distribution and international business markets. Prior to joining Gates, Mr. Jurek served as President of Eaton Electrical, Asia Pacific from November 2012. During that time, Mr. Jurek had management oversight of Eaton Electrical’s Asia Pacific portfolio which included optimizing manufacturing plants, identifying new markets, and assisting with the overall performance of the company. Prior to that, Mr. Jurek served as Group President for Cooper Power Systems—Cooper Bussmann with complete oversight of all business activities and in significant general management positions for International Rectifier Corporation and TRW Inc.

David Naemura, Chief Financial Officer

David H. Naemura has served as our Chief Financial Officer since March 2015. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Naemura manages Gates’ global corporate finance and accounting functions, including capital structure, resource allocation, financial reporting and the maintenance of our global internal control systems. Mr. Naemura also manages Information Technology and Gates’ mergers and acquisitions function. Previously, Mr. Naemura served as a Group CFO in Danaher Corporation starting in April 2012. While Group CFO, Mr. Naemura maintained responsibility for a diverse group of businesses in a variety of industrial and electronics end markets. Prior to serving in his Group CFO Role at Danaher Corporation, Mr. Naemura served as a Platform CFO in Danaher from June 2009 to March 2012. Mr. Naemura was also previously an operating company CFO in Danaher. Prior to Danaher, Mr. Naemura was employed by Tektronix Corporation since 2000, prior to their acquisition by Danaher Corporation in 2007. Mr. Naemura was also formerly an auditor.

Walt Lifsey, Chief Operating Officer

Walter T. Lifsey has served as our Chief Operating Officer since August 2015. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Lifsey manages and oversees all manufacturing and operations globally for Gates, including the operations function, health, safety and environmental, quality assurance, procurement and certain new product development. Mr. Lifsey has transformed manufacturing processes and procedures at Gates and is developing critical new assets and infrastructure for Gates globally. Prior to joining Gates, Mr. Lifsey served as Chief Operating Officer of View Inc., a manufacturer of intelligent windows, where Mr. Lifsey was responsible for all aspects of manufacturing, product quality, manufacturing engineering, operational planning, and manufacturing information systems. Before his time at View, Mr. Lifsey served in various roles at Atmel Corporation beginning in 2006 before becoming their Chief Operating Officer where he led global operations from May 2010 to November 2012. Prior to Atmel, he served in various senior management roles at International Rectifier and TRW Inc.

Jamey Seely, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Jamey S. Seely has served as our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since September 2017. Prior to joining Gates, Ms. Seely served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for ION Geophysical overseeing all corporate matters, securities regulation and disclosure issues, corporate governance, litigation, executive compensation and a broad range of financings, joint ventures and strategic transactions. Prior to ION, Ms. Seely served as Senior Vice President of Alternative Energy for NRG Energy, Inc., with management and legal oversight of multiple new business and startup ventures related to enhanced oil recovery, solar power and nuclear project development. Prior to NRG Energy, Ms. Seely served as Vice President and General Counsel at Direct Energy and as a partner in the corporate and securities law group of Thompson & Knight LLP. Ms. Seely is licensed to practice in Texas and New York.

Roger Gaston, Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Roger C. Gaston has served as our Executive Vice President—Human Resources since December 2017 and previously served as our Senior Vice President—Human Resources since August 2016. As Executive VP of Human Resources, Mr. Gaston works to build and enhance the Gates human resources function globally. He oversees talent management, recruiting, benefits, labor relations, maintaining a healthy workforce, and talent development. Prior to Gates, Mr. Gaston worked as Senior Vice President—Human Resources for Avaya Inc., a multibillion dollar enterprise telecommunications and solutions company, since 2006. At Avaya, Mr. Gaston oversaw all aspects of human resource management and industrial relations policies, practices and operations. Before Avaya, Mr. Gaston was a Corporate Vice President—Human Resources for Storage Technology Corp. from 2000 to 2005. Prior to Storage Technology Mr. Gaston served as the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Toys R Us, Inc. from 1996-2000. A Chapter 11 petition for bankruptcy protection was filed by Avaya in January of 2017.

Tom Pitstick, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Line Management

Thomas G. Pitstick has served as our Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Line Management since February 2017 and prior to that, as Gates’ Senior Vice President of Innovation since joining the company in January 2016. Mr. Pitstick has responsibility for global marketing, company branding, corporate communications, global product line management, R&D for engine systems products and pricing. Prior to joining Gates, Mr. Pitstick served as Senior Vice President of Marketing – Electrical Sector with Eaton Corporation. Prior to Eaton’s acquisition of Cooper Industries, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Cooper Power Systems Energy Automation Solutions business unit and held various roles in Cooper’s corporate and business development functions. Before Cooper, Mr. Pitstick held a number of commercial, product line management and business development roles with technology start-up companies.

Michael Rhymes, Chief Information Officer

Michael Rhymes has served as Gates’ Chief Information Officer since October 2015 with responsibility for all Information Technology operations globally for the company. In his role, Mr. Rhymes leads our global team of information technology professionals in setting the strategic direction, execution, and support of Gates’ information systems infrastructure, security, and network operations. Prior to Gates, Mr. Rhymes held senior information technology leadership positions with Eaton Corporation, Cooper Industries, and Cap Gemini.

Grant Gawronski, President, Americas

Grant Gawronski has served as Gates’ President, Americas Region since December 2017, with responsibility for the Americas commercial first-fit and replacement channels along with the company’s global oil & gas business. Mr. Gawronski has broad leadership experience, most recently holding the position of Group President – Electrical Industrial and Infrastructure at Eaton Corporation. Prior to this role, he served in numerous leadership roles at Cooper Industries, including Group President responsible for the Cooper Crouse-Hinds and Cooper B-Line organizations. Prior to Cooper, Mr. Gawronski held several international leadership positions with General Electric.

Enzo Strappazzon, President, EMEA Region

Enzo Strappazzon has served as Gates President, EMEA Region since May 2016, with commercial responsibility for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to Gates, Mr. Strappazzon held a number of senior management roles with Eaton Corporation and most recently the position of SVP and GM, Industrial Controls & Protection Division EMEA and VP and GM for the Bussmann & Power Systems Division EMEA. Prior to Eaton, he held senior leadership roles with Cooper Industries in the Bussmann division, as VP and GM for the Global IEC Electrical Products business and MD for Bussmann EMEA & the Indian Subcontinent. Mr. Strappazzon started his career with Siemens AG and held various senior positions in Africa, China, the USA, and Europe before joining Cooper Industries.

Wei Shen, Vice President / General Manager Gates Greater China

Wei Shen joined Gates Corporation as Vice President/General Manager of Gates Greater China in January 2016 with commercial responsibility for Gates business activities in China. Prior to Gates, Mr. Shen held a number of senior management roles with Eaton Corporation, including Vice President and General Manager Distributed Power Quality, Vice President of Sales Operations and Power Quality Marketing, and Business Unit Manager for the distributed Power Quality Strategic Business Unit.

Ts Khoo, Vice President, East Asia

TS Khoo joined Gates as Vice President, East Asia in January 2016 and leads the commercial teams across the East Asia region comprising five zones: Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, and India. Mr. Khoo was previously VP Sales and Operations Electrical Sector for East Asia with Eaton Corporation.
